Writing prompts tips for writers. The theme this week is Animals. How it works
I will be posting a 7-day calendar with challenging writing prompts to help stimulate your mind and get the creative juices flowing.
Sometimes we just need a break from our current writing projects and explore other avenues of writing. Or maybe you are experiencing writer’s block. Maybe these prompts will help.
Welcome to this weeks Monday’s weekly 7 – day writer’s prompts. This weeks theme is all about ANIMALS.
Each week I will post a different theme allowing you to exercise your writing technics in a wide range of fields. Try and set a goal for each story to be between 750 and 1000 words. You never know, one just may turn into a novel. Have fun! Feel free to post your stories too. I would love to read them.
This week prompts – Animals
MONDAY – A bear enters a camp ground
TUESDAY – A cat gets stuck up a tree
WEDNESDAY – A raccoon enters a home through a doggie door and finds the kitchen
THURSDAY – An old dog becomes a therapy dog for patients
FRIDAY – A trip to the zoo for the first time
SATURDAY – A deer is hit by a car
SUNDAY – A young boy gets a new puppy
Another tip: If you find that you have more to write after reaching 1000 words. Don’t Stop! Keep going! Let your imagination write the story
I would love to hear if these prompts help you and let me know which one was your favorite. Happy writing!
